| Our first biographical
presentation is of Franklin D. Lefever (13-126), the Co-compiler of THE
PENNSYLVANIA LEFEVRES record.
In addition to bringing the book to completion (and keeping it in print
for nearly 50 years) Franklin has dedicated his life to helping our family
and friends learn and appreciate our LeFevre heritage. For many years,
Franklin has led tours through LeFevre historical sites in Lancaster County,
PA. He also located and began the restoration of the Philip Lefever
Burying Ground in Lancaster.
Franklin was appointed Secretary of the LeFevre Cemetery and Historical Association by founder George Newton LeFevre in 1938 and served in that capacity until retiring in 1999. |
